You can reserve your rooms from NOW ON, by calling 1-800-WESTIN-1!  When you reserve your room, make SURE you specify that it is for the "SMA Function in August" to get the reduced rates on the rooms!

Start calling and reserving your rooms today!  You have until August 7th, if you haven't reserved your room by then, the rooms will all be released back to inventory for general sale at the regular price.   A reservation can be broken, but a room might not be available if the reservation is never made.

So what is going on?  Many of our SMA Families will be getting together this fall, just to be together, talk, interact, and relax for a weekend in our own little "commune".  We have an excellent cost proposal by the Westin Poinsett Hotel in Greenville, S. Carolina, based off of the number of rooms we have estimated needing. The hotel itself is quite beautiful, right on the downtown strip, so no transportation is needed to get to the main city fun stuff. The hotel is completely wheelchair accessible.

Some features available will include:

• Famous Historic Downtown Location on Main Street, walking distance from Greenville's finest restaurants, shops, the Peace Center for the Performing Arts, the Bi-Lo Center, Reedy River Park and Major Office Buildings.

• Luxuriously appointed guest rooms, EACH room featuring Westin's Heavenly Bed.

• Two Historic Grand Ballrooms, multiple breakout rooms and a permanent Executive Boardroom.

• 24-Hour Room Service

• Gourmet Coffee Shop/Florist/Gift Shop/Shoe Shine Service.

• Spoonbread Restaurant-serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and lobby piano bar.

• Concierge/valet/fitness center.

• In-room coffee/coffeemaker, voice mail, on command movies and Nintendo, bathrobe, USA Today newspaper, hair dryer, safe, computer data ports and high speed internet access.

There will be available an area for everyone to hang out in throughout the day, just to gather and talk and do whatever you want, whenever you want. We are speaking currently with the hotel to make sure that refrigeration options will be available for those who need that. We are looking at providing some activity ideas and opportunities that you can do, or not do, as you please!  We have a couple of guests who will try to stop by for a time, including Jennifer Majors, physical therapist, and possibly Dr. Bach as well.  Some come brainstorm, learn, talk or just relax with us!

The gathering will be held Thursday, August 19, 2004 through Monday, August 23, 2004.   Come for part of the weekend or the entire time, and some financial assistance will be available!
